hey, i did finish my stuff in office today. so after dropping deb at centrepoint, i went over to thomson plaza. that place is my new hangout.. hahaha very nice. very quiet…. very me. hahha took the chance to buy the Kopitiam card on Saturday , since u noe, the biggest “Kopitiam” is opposite office, so might as well take the chance to buy it.

wah… i must say i m quite impressed. check this out:

i bot dim sum and then the woman handed me this… apparently, this gadget will alert you when your food is ready…. hahaha impressive ar… looks very high tech for a kopitiam…

ah, but the dim sum there is horrendus. LPS is much much better… i felt like i had overnight leftovers just now. I will sue them if i have the runs tomorrow… hahaha

i went back home after tt…. when shun an joy suggested having dinner. i have always wanted to go to this place and shun has been there a few times and praised their cuisine to the skies.. so, have to go la..

where? its just beside Thomson plaza, bleah….. at jasmine rd, amongst the semi-d and bungalows.. so ya, i went back there again. the vanilla ice cream is heavenly…… trust me, i m a vanilla ice cream connoisseur … my salad was not too bad too..

we were lunching at boon tat st on thursday and it started to pour…… it was slightly drizzling when we strolled there and we took the risk to go ahead with our lunch venue.

so while waiting for the rain to stop at boon tat, we started asking one another, if it starts to rain, who is on your top 5 list of persons to deliver an umbrella to you?

hahha i am proud to say that i m on the top 5 list for quite a number of people…..provided they can get me on my phone… heehee….

just last week (including today)…. i heard these:

1. So how? u promised to give me the renovations on tues, obviously you din make it. when u target to complete the job? i replied end of the week because it is realistic, although i think i have problems meeting the realistic date now. ‘You must be joking, you mean you expect your reviewers to see the moment it comes in ar?” Eh, ar bo, u wan me to put down everything i m doing now to do your stuff  ar? pls be realistic ya….

2. Team, the client wants the thing by today. Hence, please do not go home until the revisions has been sent out to the client today wats with the smiley face?feel like slapping her……

3. today, i was asking Ms P on a technical issue, she asked a person who walked past. Her bloody neighbour, “volunteered” sme piece of information. discussion went on a while btw me and Ms P and i said anw, the client does not qualify for S14Q. She commented, “then 你害我講這麼多.”. really feel like telling her, eh, i din ask for your opinion leh, u FOC (Full of Comments) cut in..

christmas came early!! santa claus in the form of mum / dad (still trying to find out, because both are them are sleeping) nana got a new fan in her room!!! whee… 超開心的…. hahah have been procrastinating on getting a fan for the room because if not, will be fighting with dad all the time for the fan in the living room. now no need le! yippee!!

hahaha i have my fair share of stalking websites (with Sammi’s HK concert being the recent one)…allthough i dun consider that stalking la… stalking is there is another person of target to me..

Heard her talking abt some ppl perpetually stalking other ppl on the networking sites. she is a STALKER. buahaha

I commented that i dun really stalk since i dun really care…. She retorted that there is somebody that i will definitely will stalk. I replied saying that, nah… she does not go on these networking sites (facebook, friendster (kaoz, outdated liao lor), twitter, watsoever), so i dun stalk.

Ok, here’s a confession, i lied. buahaha i once typed the name and i saw her in facebook, how i know its her? birthday la.. hahaha … but but but… she locked her profile, and i think she is super duper inactive there. So nothing much i can see there… OOPS…

but anyhow, welcome me to the stalker’s club!!!! heeheee….

amidst the stress that i have been experiencing so far, i have kinda kept up with the local news. one word to summarise – tragic.

i feel sad for the widow who lost her husband to a cigarette. i feel sad for the mother who lost her two kids in an evening (thanks to her estranged husband) in ang mo kio.

you must have read about the first one. like smebody said (i tink is bour), her status changed thrice in a single night. single to married to widowed. read the 晚報 (this kind of gossip, u must read the tabloids, in fact all kind of news to get the juice out of it). my initial thoughts was this guy committed suicide (never thought of the reason though….). turned out that it happened the most tragic way that one could imagined.

According to 晚報, he went for a ciggie while his wife was in the shower and got stuck in the stairway. Hilton has a very good security system it seems. Cause he could not open the door from his side all the way from 10th to 1st floor. The cameras caught him. Then somehow, he managed to climb out onto the ledge at 3rd floor. Thereafter, you guys know the story. Sob story no. 1

Here come Sob story no. 2, also thanks to 晚報.

this man, 39 year old killed his two children, 5 and 3 years respectively, before he jumped down infront of everybody in the late evening yesterday. his wife quarrelled with him and went out, leaving the two kids at home. in his moment of anger, he killed both of them (details i din read), and set the house on fire. then in front of the neighbours who were watching downstairs (by this time, i guess all the kpos would have gathered ard), he jumped down.

His wife, despite not being on very good terms with her husband, is pregnant. She could not stand properly and kept crying when she was at the mortuary today.

I feel sorry for the kids for having such a father. They were the most innocent victims. I feel fortunate to be in a place where there is no such nonsense. I am thankful.

Oh, my Fb frens, you would noticed that i had a dream today….. it was very real until i woke up, cuz it was 1130 am. but i would the dream would continue or realise.

juz realised smethg, i may be like most ladies………………who turn to retail therapy under stress. Funny? Not.

juz today, i spent my $$ on cosmetic products.  *grinz* call me a closet vainpot….

1. Bioessence Tanaka White Ultimate whitening and spot reduction cream;

2. Olay regnerist cleanser;

3. Kose Mask White;and

4. Loreal Feria 3D hair dye.

Oh ya, not to forget my newly tailored shirt… shucks.. the garmen must really thank me for stimulating the economy…

Dun see that i may look nonchalant abt my outlook normally. The past week, prolly due to work and my usual bo-chap attitude towards my face, u can really see the breakouts, oily pores, blackheads…. and i m damn upset because they really cause discomfort.

Very rarely now, u see me having the time to stay at home, hence yesterday, i rejected bour’s suggestion to go zouk for free booze, but to head home straight after collecting my shirt.

shirt is perfect this time, i must say.eric is good…. if u need shirts, go personality menshop.

then, i decided to do a mask white for my poorly maintained and soon-to-be buang face. wow, the results was damn good. i tink the trick is to use a cotton wool, dab warm / hot water on ur face, then dry it and apply the mask, all the impurities really came out. cool!

today, i woke up really fresh and feeling very very good.. the face back to the smoothness… *grinz*.

now i need to tackle the dark circles and eye bags. sighz… really, i shudnt be typing this now and be in my bed if i m keen to stay away from the two evils… (oh, i bot the bioessence 24K gold dark circle serum, by the way) keke…

nana’s new resolution for 2010 (even if itis another 2 mths away, is to make a conscious effort to take care of my face. hee.) otherwise, the damage is really irreversible, like wat xiaolee said.

i shall go to bed now and resume work tmr.

At the risk of sounding like a old spoilt clock…. i m gg to HK to watch Mi. and good news… one more show added, making it a total of 10 shows. i want to attend the last show. which is… 3 rd Jan! =)

time is travelling way too fast for me to even be afraid…. the deadline is silently creeping up…..the chill is slowly sneaking in even as i m typing here. before i even know it, the year is coming to an end AGAIN.

i m off for rest of the afternoon, hence u see me typing here. not that i wan to, but xiao lan a.k.a bluey (nick given by bour, i like the nick!! hahahaha ) had to go for its road tax renewal.

anyway, had a taste of retribution lately for ill-treating my best friend in the past. very ill treated in fact (i meant my best friend). it came in the form of u. Soon, i will have a new label. More is to come.

Not that i m trying to act high and noble here. fancy making the above statement for someone who dun even know of this (referring to my best friend too…). i m NOT being boliao here.  Keeping silent does not mean i m accepting fault of oneself. I m not a free target. If i redeemed myself a little, well and good. if not, i am prepared to receive more. This entry probably will invoke unneccessary sparks. I certainly hope it does not, for this is my space, i write what i want to write.
